Jay Poole strives to provide his clients with financial confidence by building financial plans tailored to address their unique goals and risk tolerance.

Jay Poole is dedicated to serving individuals, families and business owners with complex financial needs and devising a clear plan to achieve their financial goals.  He facilitates a process where custom solutions are designed, implemented, monitored and communicated to provide comprehensive wealth management services.  The process includes an initial meeting to gather pertinent information, followed by planning sessions to establish and clarify the goals of the client.  Once established, a plan is put in place, and there is an active process of review, checking for progress and making adjustments to ongoing goals.  His disciplined planning process helps builds confidence that Jay puts their interests first and will help them reach their goals through each stage of life.

Jay has been working with clients to create comprehensive financial plans for more than six years.  He began his career as a financial advisor after selling a successful hotel management and development company.  Prior to that, he served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper.  Jay is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ (AAMS), a designation which signifies a high level of consulting experience with investments, insurance, tax, retirement and estate planning issues.

Spending time with his wife, Gwen, and their two children is Jay’s foremost priority.  His oldest child is a recent graduate of the University of Florida and is pursuing a graduate degree in psychiatry, and the youngest keeps Jay busy with her school activities. He enjoys spending time with his family boating on local rivers, traveling to the mountains and watching college football.  Jay volunteers his time and experience as a member of the Community Advisory Board of Haven Hospice, and he is very proud of the two years he spent as an in-class volunteer and President of the PTO at his daughter’s school, Pinemount Elementary.
